YBM 올인올 영한영 플러스 사전 - EKE DIC app good for

If you are looking for an electronic English Korean English dictionary, this one is worth the money. Its expensive, but so much better than any of the current available options. I am finally able to leave my Sharp dictionary at home. Im impressed with the expansive vocabulary. I use it several times a day, and have only once or twice not been able to find te correct word or term. My only complaints are that it doesnt re-open to the last word you searched (it always opens at the home page), and you cant link from words in the definitions. Although intended for native Korean speakers, and better suited for those who have a least a basic understanding of the Korean language, whether you are just learning Korean, or are a translator, this dictionary is more than adequate.

With this latest version I am totally sold. The quicklink feature was the only thing missing from this great dictionary, and now it is included. Great job!

As a student of Korean I use this dictionary 50 times per day in every situation where I may need an explanation. Excellent to be able to click on linked words, phrases, idioms. Excellent buy, much better than spending 30만원 on an electronic dictionary.

They have made great improvements since I first bought this adjectives and other words are now linked. However, the new version has issues. The new search is very small. You can only see 3 entries without scrolling. If I reduce the text size have the border around the word reduce as well. Whitespace is wasted space. In addition, I find the back button that takes you out of an entry back to the search functions poorly. Many times Ive had to carefully repush it to get back out. I never had to do that before. Please add Korean idioms. Its nice to have English ones but Koreans may want to translate an idiom to English or English speakers might want to check if a phrase is idiomatic if it doesnt make sense.

I own several E-K and K-E dictionaries, but this is the best one Ive used. It has English etymology, comprehensive definitions and examples, and I havent found almost any words (Korean or English) missing. My only complaint? 900mb is a lot, and it would be nice if the English pronunciation files were optional.

This is a solid dictionary with both Korean-English and English-Korean. The interface is pleasant enough, though like almost all such material, really geared to Korean learners of English. It would be nice to be able to toggle a setting and have all material geared to learners of English disappear (lists of English words for TOEIC, etc.). Some of the English translations are unidiomatic, but this isnt a real issue for native English speakers (I guess that the Korean is idiomatic, however).

Some bad moments

만드신분께는 정말 미안합니다. 그러나 오랜기간 정말 쓸모없는 app이란 결론입니다 1. 비싸고 느립니다 2. 실제 필요한 idioms는 항상 없어요 "cast a pall over"란 말 이사전에만 없어요. 3. 사용자편의를 무시합니다. 무슨의도로 dic 와 idiom를 다시 type해야하나요 4.단어장으로는 제일비싸게 무겁게 쓸수있지요

없는 단어도 많고 인터넷 비접속시 구동은 되지만 버벅인다던지 응답 속도가 현저히 감소해 재시작해도 마찬가지인 경우가 부지기수임. 솔직히 돈값 제대로 못하는 어플. There are so many words that you cannot look up because they are simply not available in the current edition of the app and which the developers do not seem to care to work on. Moreover, when not connected to the internet, the time it takes to see the result seems greately diminished or it simply would not show, forcing the user to restart the app which is extremely annoying and time consuming when this app is supposed to work offline with no problem. Overall, dont spend a dime on this dissapointing app and look elsewhere for a better alternative.
